WACCAMAW LIGHT ARTILLERY

The Waccamaw Light Artillery has been several years in the making.  Compatriots Bobby Scarborough, Eddie Pippin & Ken Thrasher have over the last few years obtained uniforms and mortars, so that when a dedication, installation of new headstone or Cross of Honor or memorial is held, they can fire mortar salutes to honor the memory of our Confederate heros, at the end of the services.

If you desire to have a dedication service for a Confederate ancestor(s) inHorry County, and would like to have a mortar salute, just contact the Waccamaw Light Artillery at the number or email below,and we will work with you to carry out your service.  We need about 3 weeks lead time before the event, in order to insure we can schedule your event.
